I used a cake pop pan for the first time yesterday, I guess I didn’t fill it up enough as they came out oddly shaped. I filled it to the top of the line but whatever the case they ended up looking like tiny cupcakes! I’ve always wanted to try making cupcake pops. Honestly, who has the time for the shaping or the cookie cutter layering most recipes expect? I definitely do not, especially when there’s usually a toddler hanging from my shirt. I looked at this as a happy accident and went with it! These Valentine’s pops worked out really well and totally looked like cute little heart cupcakes. They are for a classroom Valentine’s day party at the local school. Hopefully the kids love them heaps!
Even though though your cake-turned-cupcake pops aren’t perfectly round, they’re still cute! I made Rice Krispies pops for the first time not too long ago. Feel free to check out my attempt and other baking adventures, if you’d like: http://thetalkingpencil.com/category/baking-adventures-2/
